LeBron Raymone James Sr. - born 30 December 1984 - is a pro American basketball player. King James, he's widely regarded to be the greatest player of all-time and often is compared with Michael Jordan during debates about the greatest basketball player of all time. James has taken home four NBA championships and four NBA MVP awards and four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James has the highest points in the playoffs and has the second highest number of career points and is the seventh player with the most ever assists. James is part of the NBA All-Stars and 18 All-NBA Teams and five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. James has played in the ten NBA Finals the third most all time including eight consecutively between the years of 2011 and 2018. James was selected to his place on the NBA 75th Anniversary Team and became the NBA's first player to have accumulated 10,000 or more points, rebounds, and assists during his professional career, in 2022. James was a student at St. Vincent St. Mary High in Akron Ohio, where he was raised. The national media praised him as a potential NBA superstar. In 2003 it was the year that it was the time that Cleveland Cavaliers took him first in the NBA draft, as a pre-pro. Following his selection as 2004's NBA Rookie Of The Year, he quickly became a top player in the NBA receiving the NBA's MVP Award both in 2009 and 2010. James was not able to secure the award with Cleveland, and departed the city with the status of an "free agent" in 2010. The move was revealed by the television show The Decision.
