LeBron Raymone James Sr. - born 30 December 1984 is a pro American basketball player. James is known for his role as King James and is considered to be one of the best basketball players ever. James was awarded two Olympic gold medals as well as four NBA championships. James is the NBA All-Star with the most playoff points, with the second most points in his career total, and the seventh highest career assist total. James is part of the NBA All-Stars, 18 All NBA Teams, and Five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. As a total, James has been a part of more than 10 NBA Finals, the third-most of all time. This includes eight straight between 2011-2018. James was selected for his way onto the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. In 2022, James became one of the few NBA player to score 10,000 career points. James played basketball for St. Vincent-St. Mary High school in Akron, Ohio. The school was recognized by media across the nation as the next NBA super star. As a prep-to-pro player, he was picked by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall pick in the 2003 NBA draft. He was voted one of the NBA rookie of the year in 2004. He soon became one of the top players in the NBA and was awarded the NBA MVP Award both 2009 and 2010. James went free agency in 2010 after failing to win championships with Cleveland. The decision to leave Cleveland to join Miami Heat, announced on the show on television The Decision, is considered as one of the most controversial free-agent decisions in the history of sports.
