Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish, half-English woman was born on April 16th, 1997 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a Psychotherapist. His father was Argentine and Scottish English descendance. Her mother is of Spanish as well as English roots. Taylor-Joy's siblings are four of her father's previous marriage. After having lived within Buenos Aires for six years, the family relocated to Victoria. Taylor Joy stated that moving from Buenos Aires, to Victoria was difficult and she was not able to take the time to learn English in hopes of going again to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she was required to attend after switching from Northlands. Then, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School to study dance and perform in productions of the school. When she was 16 she left the school to pursue a profession as an actress full-time. Taylor-Joy was always aware of her desire to work as an actor. Her dream was granted a chance by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management, who offered her a job as a model.
